This week Carl Brandhorst joined us from the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association (ASWA) with some of the 2014 winning wines from all over the East CoastāGA, MD, NY and, yes, even Laurie’s home state of NJ! Carl Brandhorst is President of the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association (ASWA), a trade group that helps promote the wine industry.Ā He has served as Chairman of the July 2005-2014 Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competitions sponsored by ASWA.Ā Carl is also a past President of the Washington, DC Chapter of the German Wine Society and currently serves on its Board of Directors.Ā Carl is a longstanding member of the American Wine Society (AWS) and a graduate of the AWS wine judge program. The bouquet is exotic, intense, and comĀplex; the taste proĀfile is vibrant, full, and eleĀgant. It is an excelĀlent expresĀsion of the charĀacĀter of our stateās grape!
