Laurie Forster is one of America’s leading wine experts and author of the award-winning book The Sipping Point: A Crash Course in Wine. Laurie is a Certified Sommelier, National Speaker and TV personality who is not afraid to tell you her first wine came from a box. Her edgy approach to demystifying wine caught the eye of major networks and led her to guest appearances on The Dr Oz Show, FOX Morning News, Martha Stewart Living Today, ABC and many more.
Stand up Sommelier is an original comedy show & wine tasting event that includes audience participation. During the show, Forster leaves no stone unturned when it comes to talking about wine and why we like it. Maybe you love the full body of a Cab Franc or the crisp acidity of a Viognier. Who knows? Who cares? But by the end of this show three things are certain. You are confident about what you like, exhausted from laughing and completely toasted. Relax with your 5 wine tastings and enjoy because this is a “tasting” you will never forget.

During the ticket purchase process, please be sure to list out the name of all guests that you would like to be seated with in the notes section. Please note, this event is “family styled seating”, meaning you may be seated at tables with other patrons. We can seat groups together with up to 10 guests! We highly recommend one person purchasing tickets for all guests in a party to ensure availability; we sold out very quickly last time.
