He proved them wrong by making Robert Modavi Winery one of the world’s leading innovators of fine wine. Robert Mondavi brought many of the world’s best winemaking practices to California and cofounded The American Institute of Wine & Food with Chef Julia Child. The innovation continues with Winemaker Genevieve Janssens who was named 2010 Winemaker of the Year by Wine Enthusiast!
