Ryan Jennings co-author of Cooking with Booze, joined Laurie to give some tips on using spirits in your favorite recipes. Ryan and Dave teamed up in 2003 to explore how the liquor cabinet could be used as an extension of the spice rack. Driven by their passion for simple food—and their love of fine spirits, wine and beer—their efforts culminated in 2006 with the publication of Cooking with Booze. The critically acclaimed title quickly became a Canadian bestseller and has since been reprinted internationally. In 2007, Ryan and Dave launched www.cookingwithbooze.com—an online resource for all things food and booze related—and set out to write their second book, Entertaining with Booze.
